Since it seems to be British Girl Band Thursday in my brain, did you all hear about the Sugababes? Apparently they are trying to crack America, and have decided to begin this endeavor by forcibly ousting Keisha… the only remaining original member.

Why are they still even calling themselves the Sugababes? Mutya has been joking that she, Siobhan, and Keisha should reform the original group… to which I believe everyone is saying, “WELL, YES! DO IT!” (Even though most of my favorite songs were from the Mutya/Keisha/Heidi years)
I kind of hope that they absolutely fail in the American market. I really don’t want to hear people say, “Hey, have you heard of this new group… Sugar Babes or something?” and to have to say, “WELL YES, BUT THOSE ARE NOT THEM.” Of course, that would give me an excuse to start sending people “In The Middle,” “Hole in the Head,” and “Push the Button” to explain to them what a farce all this has become.
