Sorry for being so tweet-heavy lately!
Not that there are very many people who actually read this, but sorry for posting very few things, aside from twitter updates for the past few months. Life has been one major transition after another lately, and after a graduation, a frantic job search, starting a new job, moving twice, and trying to deal with other assorted drama, I feel like I’m finally getting my feet underneath me. Or, at the very least, I’m getting the boxes out from beneath my feet. (Slowly). I don’t know why I decided to do it all at once, but I guess this is just how life works sometimes. Also, it gets dark at about 4:30 these days (Chicago is far from optimally positioned in the Central time zone), so it’s hard to get things done after work because it feels like bedtime by the time I get home (TRANSLATION: it is 6PM).
I am hoping to be a more creative and interesting person once I’ve got my apartment unpacked and have a little room to breathe. I am speaking both metaphorically and literally here, since I’ve downsized into a 450 ft^2 studio and even though I love it, it means that I have to do battle with my genetically inherited packrat-ism every time I open a box. It is the perfect amount of space for me, I just need to get rid of all the things I’ve been meaning to get rid of.
Anyway, sorry for the lack of interesting content. Bear with me for a bit longer and I’ll try to do better!
